IAG2007: Changing Climates
Change is a fact of life. It is said that there have been
more inventions made in the last century than through the entire
history of mankind. Technology, environment, the way we work,
the people we live with are all changing and adapting. So if we
fail to adapt to these changing climates, then we will fail to
evolve into a new world.
At IAG 2007, we looked at the evolution of the 21st century person.
Wednesday we looked at how the changing environments
impacts
on governments, what technology will look like in the future,
how
climate change is
On Thursday we looked at changing climates in
the workplace with
industrial legislation changes, superannuation and workplace
health and safety. We also look at changing climates in lifestyle
as we look at a work/life balance and see the rise of personal
trainers, life coaches and a focus on nutrition and life changes.
And also we look at changing climates in government services
as they deal with our increasing population, changes in
demography, service styles and public infrastructure.
Finally on Friday we turned to changes to our
computer systems
and what they have done to my SAP, how to empower people in
these changing climates and then look at our future as retirees.
We look forward to seeing you there and hoping that we can
adapt to those changing climates.
